Val x Love Anime's Promo Video Reveals October 5 Premiere

Video also previews Rikako Aida's opening theme song

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ryousuke Asakura's Val x Love (Ikusa x Koi) manga began streaming the show's main promotional video on Monday. The video reveals that the show will premiere on October 5 at 11:00 p.m. on AT-X, before airing later that night on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11.

The show stars: (not all name romanizations are confirmed)

Takashi Naoya is (Luck & Logic, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Real Girl) is directing the anime at Hoods Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) is supervising the series' scripts. Kiyoshi Tateishi (animation director for Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) is the character designer and chief animation director. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND (Witch Craft Works, Kakegurui, Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san) is composing the music.

Rikako Aida is performing the opening theme song "for...," and the voice cast members for the anime's nine Valkyrie sisters are performing the ending theme song "Up-Date x Please!!" in groups of three. The ending will have three versions and change every episode. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is composing, arranging, and providing the lyrics for the ending song.

Yen Press is publishing the manga in English, and the company describes the first volume:
