This year's November issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero Sum announced on Friday that Verno Mikawa's slapstick detective manga Strange+ will end with its 200th chapter in the next issue on October 28.
Mikawa previously announced in the 19th compiled volume of the manga in February that she planned to end the series with the 20th volume.
Mikawa launched Strange+ in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero Sum magazine in 2002. The series inspired two anime seasons by anime studio Seven in 2014. Crunchyroll streamed both as they aired in Japan.
The manga centers around a detective agency. The story begins with a teenaged boy named Kō who came to the slums to search for Takumi, his missing big brother who ran away years ago. The brothers reunite, and it turns out that Takumi now heads the Mikuni Detective Agency. Kō wants to bring Takumi back, but he doesn't want go back home himself. So, he starts working at the agency, doing odds and ends.
