Dol:Men X Alien Idol Comedy Manga Gets Live-Action Show, Film

A live-action miniseries and film adaptation of Yuuna Takagi's Dol:Men X manga has been green-lit. The four-episode mini-series will premiere on NTV on March 10 at 24:55 (effectively March 11 at 12:55 a.m.), with 30 minutes per episode. The film will open in Japan later this year.
The cast includes (left to right in picture above):

The manga centers on four alien men who plan on dominating the world by striving for idol stardom. Joining them is an alien otaku girl.
The film will recount the television series' story with new scenes set 15 years later.
Naoko Komuro (NTV) is directing the project. Shōgō Kashida is penning the scripts. Mami Fujimori is credited for planning and production. Tarō Makido is composing the music, and Mayumi Natsu is in charge of choreography. Norihiko Nishi is credited as chief producer at NTV, while Hiroe Suzuma (NTV) and Tetsuya Sakashita (AXON) are credited as producers.
Takagi launched the manga in Shogakukan's Hibana magazine, and ended it last April. Shogakukan published the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume last July.
