NIS America announced on Wednesday that it will also release its Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle for Nintendo Switch. As a result, it is delaying the game's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions from July 4 to September 5 in North America and June 30 to September 8 in Europe. The Switch version is slated for the same day.
The Switch and PS4 versions will have both a physical and digital release, while the PS Vita version will have a digital-only release. The PS4 version will be compatible with the PlayStation VR headset.
The company describes the game:
Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is a bullet-hell battle game that takes place in the Touhou universe. Take control of one of nine Touhou characters and eliminate your opponent using bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, or spell cards! Featuring ear-tingling beats for each character, you might just find yourself dancing while you play!
The game originally arrived in Japan on November 2 on the PS4 and PS Vita as part of Mediascape's "Play, Doujin!" project, which publishes dōjin games (such as fan-made Touhou Project titles) on PlayStation platforms.
