Final Fantasy Explorers Force Game Revealed for Smartphones

This year's April issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine announced on Tuesday that Square Enix will release an iOS and Android game titled Final Fantasy Explorers Force this year. The game will be free to play with the option of in-game purchases.
Like the first Final Fantasy Explorers game, Final Fantasy Explorers Force be a multiplayer RPG, but up to five players can collaborate instead of just four. The game will again allow the players to occasionally transform into heroes from past Final Fantasy games; the magazine shows images of Final Fantasy VII's Cloud, Final Fantasy VIII's Squall, Final Fantasy X's Tidus, Final Fantasy XII's Vaan, and Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning. It will also feature eidolons such as Ramuh, Bahamut, and Titan.
Square Enix released Final Fantasy Explorers for Nintendo 3DS in Japan in December 2014, and in North America and Europe in January 2016.
