Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia began streaming two English-subbed videos on Saturday for its Summer Lesson PlayStation VR game. The first video features a short scene at a café, while the second video highlights gameplay in which the player character interacts with Hikari in her room.
Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia will release the English-subbed game in Southeast Asia in early 2017 as a digital download via the PlayStation Network. Bandai Namco Entertainment initially released the game in Japan on October 13 as a launch title for the PlayStation VR headset. The game won a special award in the PlayStation VR category of the PlayStation Awards 2016 in December. Before its release, the project was used as a demonstration of the PlayStation VR.
In the game, players interact with the character Hikari Miyamoto through a number of conversations and situations. Players act as her summer tutor over a seven-day period.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released an add-on pack for the game in December titled Summer Lesson: Miyamoto Hikari Second Feel that added six outfits for Hikari and situations in which players "feel they are actually touching the character in front of them."
