Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' May Have Broken U.K. Top Ten
posted on by Andrew Osmond
According to the website Box-Office Mojo, the film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' was number ten in the box-office for October 2 to 4. The film played on 74 screens (compared to 454 screens for the number 9 film, Pixar's Inside Out and 582 screens for the number 1 film, The Martian). The film had the fourth highest screen average of $2,278 (about £1,480) and a gross take of $168,560 (about £110,000).
The film was also listed as number ten on Friday's popular Kermode's and Mayo's Film Review programme on BBC Radio 5 Live. (However, Mark Kermode had not seen the film.)
However, the British Film Institute, The Guardian and the Film Distributors' Association place Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' outside the top ten.
