posted on by Karen Ressler
Stage production company Eigeki unveiled the key visual for Hamatora the Stage -Double Mission-, the second stage play based on the Hamatora multimedia franchise.
The new play will run for 10 performances from March 14 to March 22 (except on March 16 and March 17) at the Seiryō Kaikan Hall in Tokyo.
In the second play's story, it's been one week since the Minimum Holder revolt, and Yokohama has gone back to normal. Nice and Murasaki take on a job as bodyguards for a woman Art introduces them to, and Birthday and Ratio accept a job from a bloodstained man to find a lost cat.
The cast will return from the first play:
Yūki Kurofuji as Murasaki
Ryō Ōshima as Birthday
Shungo Takasaki as Ratio
Ran Sakai as Koneko
Yūsuke Kanai as Gasuke
Keisuke Igarashi as Moral
Rakuto Tochihara as Art
The first play also starred Saki Takahashi as Hajime and Toshihiko Tanaka as Mao.
The first play, Hamatora The Stage: -Crossing Time-, ran from August 16 to 24 with 12 public performances at the Haiyūza Theater Roppongi in Tokyo. A DVD will go on sale on February 27.
The production company Eigeki put together the first Hamatora play after working on Super Musical Saint Seiya, the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion stage play, and Lucky Star ≒ On Stage. It is also running the second play.
The second anime series, Re:␣Hamatora (Reply Hamatora), streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan last summer.
