Gakuen Alice's Higuchi Starts Anne no Magomago Tosho Land Manga

The 17th issue of Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine is announcing on August 5 that Gakuen Alice's Tachibana Higuchi will begin serializing her new series titled Anne no Magomago Tosho Land (Anne's Confusing Literary Land) in the magazine's 18th issue on August 20.
The story begins when a suspicious cult called the "Confusion Cult" enter the town. The god they worship is in fact a baby. The red-haired protagonist of the manga named Anne attends the school that the cult founded, and even though she is not popular, she is still loved by her friends. As she continues to rebel against the cult, the door to a mysterious world opens.
Higuchi ended her long-running Gakuen Alice manga in the same magazine last year. Tokyopop published 16 volumes of the manga before the company shut down. The company also published four volumes of Higuchi's earlier Portrait of M & N manga.
Gakuen Alice inspired a 26-episode television anime series in 2004-2005. Right Stuf released the series on DVD in North America.
