Voice Actors Play Call of Cthulu Tabletop RPG to Promote Manga

Voice actors Hiroki Yasumoto (Hōzuki's Coolheadedness), Kana Motomiya (Kemono Friends), and Maya Yoshioka (Girls und Panzer) sat down to play the tactical role-playing game Call of Cthulhu. The game's scenario was written by Norimitsu Kaihō, the scriptwriter behind the School-Live!, Danganronpa 3, and Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka anime series.
The campaign was planned to promote the first volume of Kaihō's manga series Shimomata Shisuru Mono Nareba. Kaihō and Hikaru Sakurai are credited with the manga's original story. Comaku is writing the manga's story with artist Monster Lounge. The manga's first volume debuted on Saturday.
The manga's story takes place within the Cthulu mythos originally devised my H.P. Lovecraft. In the story, a mysterious murder case occurs at a deserted tourist hotel. When the detective who visited this place at the request of the hotel manager arrives to find the truth, something dark is revealed.
