Manga Artists Hajime Isayama, Yuki Suetsugu, Oh! Great, More Draw Mickey Mouse

What does Disney's most iconic character look like when drawn at the hands of Attack on Titan's Hajime Isayama or Chihayafuru's Yuki Suetsugu? Readers can find out at participating bookstores until April 19 thanks to Kodansha Spring Manga Festival 2019 campaign.The festival is offering a lottery where participants can enter to win of 5,000 pairs of tickets to a special evening at the Tokyo Disney Sea theme park.
Bookstores will give away book covers featuring different artist's renditions of Mickey Mouse with the purchase of a paperback book. The stores are stocked with covers featuring art by Isayama, Suetsugu, Oh! great, Hikaru Nakamura, and Tsutomu Nihei.
Oh! great's version shows smaller robotic Mickeys working on a larger, steampunk version of the character.
Suetsugu's version shows four young Disney fans sharing one another's clothes.
Nakamura's image show Mickey and Minnie sharing a morning together in a Japanese-style apartment.
Finally, Nihei's version shows Mickey exuding a raw kind of power.
Readers can enter to win the tickets for the Tokyo Disney Sea event with the purchase of two books published by Kodansha. Both paperback and electronic books qualify for entry.
The book cover artwork is just the beginning of manga artist and Mickey Mouse crossover. An art book commemorating the mouse's 90th anniversary will go on sale in late June and include artwork from over 120 manga artists.
