Bandai Namco Entertainment's Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game is launching for the Nintendo Switch console on Friday. Fans of the anime series might already know the accompanying moves to pull off Goku's Kamehameha or Captain Ginyu's Body Change signature techniques, but for the uninitated, the company released some helpful videos on how to pull them off using the JoyCon controllers.

The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 release includes three new systems. The new ad-hoc co-op feature will let players connect and play with up to six players locally for the first time in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series. Using the motion sensor will let players use ultimate techniques. For example, players will be able to hold the Joy-Cons in both hands to use a Kamehameha attack. Two players are able to use Joy-Cons to battle against each other on one Nintendo Switch.
The release offers the "Time Patrol" story from the first Dragon Ball Xenoverse game as a limited-time bonus. The first copies will include a download code to unlock more than 70 characters from the main story immediately.
The events of the game take a place a few years after Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Players will assume the role of a Time Patroller, and set out to prevent the history of the Dragon Ball world from being changed.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the game for Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 7. Bandai Namco Entertainment released the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe last October. Bandai Namco Entertainment released the game for the PS4 in Japan last November.
