The March issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine revealed on Wednesday that the television anime adaptation of Yūji Nagai's gag comedy manga 100% Pascal-sensei will premiere on MBS and TBS on April 15 at 6:30 a.m.
While MBS and TBS previously announced that 100% Pascal-sensei will air alongside the television anime adaptation of Hiromu Shinozuka's Puri Puri Chii-chan!! manga, the magazine did not mention a corresponding premiere date and time for Puri Puri Chii-chan!!.
The official website for both anime series began streaming a promotional video for both anime on January 26, but the video is region-blocked to Japan.
The story of 100% Pascal-sensei centers around an elementary school teacher who is so stupid, he cannot even write his own name. He does whatever he likes in his classroom. Plus, by all appearances, he is not human.
Nagai launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine 2015, and Shogakukan published the fourth compiled volume on December 28. A Penguin's Troubles, an earlier manga that Nagai published in Monthly Coro Coro Comics, inspired a 2008 television anime and a 2009 anime movie.
