I'm wondering if the Dirty Pair "manga" should be included in the Encyclopedia. I put quotes on "manga" because it's not technically a manga; it's an American comic book (by Adam Warren and Toren Smith) based on a Japanese TV series. So the question I'm asking is: does it belong in the ANN Encyclopedia?
And if it does, how do the 6 graphic novels relate to each other?
- Dirty Pair: A Plague of Angels
- Dirty Pair: Sim Hell
- Dirty Pair: Dangerous Acquantances
- Dirty Pair: Biohazards
- Dirty Pair: Fatal But Not Serious
- Dirty Pair: Run From the Future
Should they be considered as 6 different manga or 6 volumes of one manga series?
I can comment only on 'Biohazards', as it was published in Poland.
So, here it goes.
According to the editors note, it was published at the end of 1988 as a 4 part series in the US. Thus it was the first appearance of Kei and Yuri in the America.
First they appeared in a series of novels by Harua Takachiho somewhere around 1980.
And around 1993 Japanese artists created s few versions of the Whit Angels, including animated and theatrical performances.
'Biohazards' story was created by Adam Warren and Toren SMith with art by Adam Warren, based on characters created by Haruka Takachiho.
Thats what the note said about the sweet Dirty Pair.
I hope it is of any help.

They're all stand-alones, and were not published in any continuis method. I'd say put them as seperate items.
They also have slightely different staff lists with regards to the supporting staff, and "Fatal but not Serious" was by Warren alone, Smith wasn't involved.
